Rasmussen: 44% Strongly disapprove Obama

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 (see trends).

Erie County Pennsylvania Republican Party officially debuts Face Book Page

In recognition of the importance of the internet and social media the party has debuted  an official page under the same name  on Face Book.

Up until now representation has been through a profile name of GopEriePa which is directly linked to this web page with simultaneous postings which aid in the dissemination of information from the Chairman and the Committee to the public, of local party events as well as information which is deemed to be important on the State and National scenes.

Sen. Toomey discusses the debt limit

Our new Senator, Pat Toomey, is acutely aware of the hard times that working Pennsylvania families face each day. In fact, as you watch the bickering on television and read the squabbles in your local newspaper day after day coming from Capitol Hill, our new Senator chips away at making good on his campaign promises.

Pat has quietly positioned himself as the authority among Senate Republicans in the debt debate. He most recently sponsored the “Cut, Cap and Balance Act” – a comprehensive bill focused on broad cuts in federal spending.

Rasmussen: Voters unhappy in Debt Ceiling Debate

Most voters don’t care much for the way either political party is performing in the federal debt ceiling debate.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 58% of Likely U.S. Voters at least somewhat disapprove of the way President Obama and congressional Democrats are handling the debate over the debt ceiling, with 38% who Strongly Disapprove. But 53% also disapprove of how congressional Republicans are handling the debate, including 32% who Strongly Disapprove.

Administration Grants 39 New Waivers Bringing Total To 1,471
