BYRON YORK EXCLUSIVE: Trump talks post-election fight

TRUMP TALKS POST-ELECTION FIGHT. The president called on Thursday morning to update the election challenges his campaign is making in several key states. The bottom line from our conversation: No matter what news organizations have projected, Trump says he’s confident he will win the states needed to get to 270 electoral votes. He quickly ran through the situation in six states.

“We’re going to win Wisconsin,” he began. “Arizona — it’ll be down to 8,000 votes, and if we can do an audit of the millions of votes, we’ll find 8,000 votes easy. If we can do an audit, we’ll be in good shape there.”

“Georgia, we’re going to win,” he continued, “because now, we’re down to about 10,000, 11,000 votes, and we have hand-counting” — a reference to the coming recount. “Hand-counting is the best. To do a spin of the machine doesn’t mean anything. You pick up 10 votes. But when you hand-count — I think we’re going to win Georgia.” He’ll also win North Carolina, Trump joked, “unless they happen to find a lot of votes. I said, ‘When are they going to put in the new votes in North Carolina? When are they going to find a batch from Charlotte?'”

DEMOCRATS WANT IT ALL NOW.

Remember the weeks before the election, when leading Democrats, voices in the media, and tech moguls warned America to be patient after election day? It might take days, or weeks, or even months, to know the final results of the presidential election, they warned. Americans should not get ahead of themselves but instead wait to let the process of choosing a new president work.

That was then. Now, some Democrats not only want President Trump to leave office, they want him to do so, and be replaced by Joe Biden, immediately. On Tuesday evening, Hollywood moviemaker and activist Rob Reiner tweeted: “Since Donald Trump has already stopped doing his job (and never really did) why wait until January 20? He should leave now and let Joe Biden do what he would never do: be a real president.”

Trump accuses Democrats of cheating? What goes around comes around.

Many Democrats and their allies in the media are angry that President Trump has accused Joe Biden and Democrats of cheating to win the presidency. No doubt some are frustrated, even in victory. But why should they be surprised when Trump says the other side cheated? After all, they said the same thing four years ago after the 2016 election.

And they didn’t do it for just a week or two. Democrats pressed the cheating accusation to extraordinary lengths, month after month, and year after year, inflicting as https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/trump-accuses-democrats-of-cheating-what-goes-around-comes-aroundmuch damage on Trump’s presidency as they possibly could. Today, after the 2020 vote, Trump’s accusations won’t have the same effect — they will be dismissed and then ignored by much of the media, as opposed to 2016-2019 when comparably groundless anti-Trump allegations were given daily headlines. But the fact is, in the Trump era, some Democrats made a false accusation of cheating part of their political strategy. They are in a poor position to complain about it now.

The accusation was, of course, that Trump won in 2016 by conspiring with Russia to influence the election. Some Democrats, like Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, began suggesting Trump was conspiring with Russia in the summer when the campaign was reaching full speed. Then the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid a former British spy to compile a dossier of false allegations claiming Trump-Russia collusion. “Collusion,” in the context of the 2016 election, was a synonym for “cheating.”

EXPOSE VOTER FRAUD

Greetings. My name is Garry Springer. I am planning a massive national movement. I love the rallies, but let’s get to the bottom of this issue! I am recruiting volunteers to help me match obituary records with active public voter registrations in order to find and prevent further voter fraud from occurring in the swing states. THE GAME IS NOT OVER!!! Let’s turn this around! Please pass the word to everyone you know. The citizens have a right to know how many dead voters are in the system. We will report everything to the appropriate authorities and the Trump campaign. #MAGA Thank you!
