Most voters continue to worry about global warming AKA climate change but not enough to part with their hard-earned money to do something about it.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the federal government does too little to fight global warming. Just 16% think it does too much, while 23% consider the level of government action about right. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on October 27-28, 2019 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
