WOMEN FOR SMITH COALITION KICKS OFF IN PHILADELPHIA

PHILADELPHIA – The Tom Smith for Senate Campaign today announced the launch and leadership of the “Women for Smith” coalition at the Torresdale Flower Shop with owner Antoniette Montgomery and coalition co-Chair Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh.

“Women in Pennsylvania and across the country have grown tired of politics as usual in Washington,” said Montgomery.  “As a small business owner, I support Tom Smith’s common sense reforms to end the oppressive regulations and taxes that have killed jobs in our state.  In Tom Smith we have a citizen candidate and proven job creator with a real plan to grow our economy.”

“With more than a half-million Pennsylvanians unemployed, it’s time we abandon the failed policies of the Obama-Casey agenda,” said Sheriff Welsh. “Tom Smith’s positive vision for the future will preserve the American Dream for our children and grandchildren.”

“I’m honored to have the support of these outstanding civic and business leaders,” said Smith.  “By restoring economic freedom we will increase opportunities for all Americans and get Pennsylvania back to work.”
